I have just read your sight and record the exact same problem as others with regard to my transmission. 2014 model only done 45,000km. Sadly, I bought this privately, but off a friend who cared for it well, not that transmissions need caring for/servicing. Anyway, have approached Nissan and initially they said out of warranty, then when the local agent got involved they offered to pay 30% of the $7000+ cost (my cost still $4400). I find this "goodwill" offer unreasonable given other feedback that this is a known fault and that likely recalls would have been a better solution. Also the repair costs seems outrageous. i have written again, but no response to date. Any way you can assist?

Hi there,
All you can do is keep on to Nissan to sharpen their "Goodwill" pencil- we've heard from consumers in similar situations where dealers offer to pay parts and request the vehicle owner to pay labour. This is best argued if the vehicle was purchased off the dealer and only serviced by them.
