Hi Folks - the left rear seat belt on my year 2000 Toyota Corolla refuses to unreel more than a few centimetres from it's wall mounting, thus making it unusable, and will probably mean a WoF failure on the car's next inspection. Is this something that the AA can repair for me? Or would I have to go to some sort of seat belt specialist for a remedy? My nearest AA service centre is in Taranaki St in Wellington. Hi Alec,
I recommend giving them a call, it could be something that requires a clean out of dust and the mounting brackets checked. Otherwise they could always locate a second-hand unit and fit it for you. 04 803 3301 is their number.
