Hi i had just got my front brakes repaired and noticed my pedals is very soft, its likes pressing on air. The people that replaced it said they dont open the master cylinder when replacing the brake pads or remove the brake fluids, is this even right coz now im left with very spongy brakes

Hi there,
I would recommend having the brake fluid replaced and bled when having new brakes pads/shoes replaced to make sure the complete system has been checked.
New brake pads will need to wear in a bit and the brake feel might be a little different until this happens, but the pedal shouldn't feel spongy. I recommend having a second look to make sure something hasn't been missed or fitted incorrectly. You may need a second opinion f the garage who did the work won't take another look or if you are not satisfied they have completed the job correctly. Thank you for your response, appreciate the time. Its not so much spongy but i find that now i have to press the brakes more than half way for it to stop and sometimes it feels like when i step on the brakes its just air and no fluid in it
