Hi, I have a Toyota Corolla (year 2000). Today on a 20km journey the Discharge Warning light (red battery icon) came on and stayed on. The battery is only 2 years old (from AA Battery Service). I have checked the tension of the obvious belts, and the battery connections and all seems OK. What is your advice? Cheers.. Alec

Hi there,
The battery itself doesn't have a warning light, but the charging system does..
Most of the time if the charge light/ alternator light comes on it means the battery isn't being charged and will soon go flat and stop the car from running if you keep driving.
I recommend calling Roadservice to tow the vehicle an Auto Centre for diagnosis and repair. 0800 500 222.
