Hi, Team. Bothered by this knocking sound I hear from the engine bay when driving my Premacy '08, particularly over speed bumps or uneven roads. I had the front stabilizer bars replaced in the last WoF (by AA Taranaki Street, WLG) in November 2019, but the sound's still there. A friend who rode with me a few days back mentioned that it could be the "engine support", which he probably means to be the engine mount. Just wondering if he's right and why this could have been missed in the last service. Do you have an idea of how much a replacement would roughly cost? Cheers!

Until someone diagnoses the fault correctly it's difficult to say what it could be. The engine won't usually move when going over uneven roads but more on acceleration or on-and-off the throttle type scenarios which is when that type of noise would happen. You could be looking at a shock related issues, or something simple like a bonnet hinge worn. Whoever find the [problem would then be best to give a price of repair.
