Hey there,
I've got a few problems with my Van lately..
(Nissan Caravan 2001 E25)

Fuel Gauge:
Misreading - Generally about 20% higher than it actually is. Also goes over 100%. How to fix an Issue like this? Does AA do this kind of repair? How much will it probaply be to repair - best/worst case?

Speedometer:
Same questions for the Speedometer. It's generally showing 10% more than actual speed.
Display: 110 km/h // 55km/h
Actual: 100 km/h // 50 km/h

Have a great Day and thanks for any knowledge you can provide!

Hi there,
Speedometer reading is like that from factory and most vehicles will be that way in some form or another. The rule is 10% plus 4km before is can be considered problematic, so at a true vehicle speed of 100kmh a speedo gauge can read between 100-114kmh. The fuel gauge could be a needle fault or a sender fault. It might be best to speak with an auto electrician and they can test. It's most likely that if no work has been done on the fuel pump in the tank recently- it could be an instrument cluster/dash fault and might need a reset/ replacement.
