Hi there. I'm about to go overseas for about 8 weeks. My 3 year old Captiva will be safely parked in a garage while I'm away. Should I have someone start the engine occasionally, or is this unnecessary? It has already had a replacement battery as the original became unreliable.

It would pay to have the vehicle started up and run for a bit perhaps every two weeks if the battery is strong. Remember if the battery does run too low your membership will cover your callout to start the vehicle.
