We purchased a car in April last year and had some problems with it in November. Just got it back, but after some further investigation we got these notes from the dealership and my question relates to whether this issue is a common issue for a car with 45000km on the clock or a major issue?

Hi there,
I've not heard of this exact issue before, but understand how it could happen. but not sure as to the cause. Modern diesel injectors are quite technical these days and could entirely be possible for one to fault irrespective of age or km's. If the seller didn't assist in the remedy costs, the only way to know if this is acceptable or not will be through a disputes tribunal.
