To set the context - I am a pensioner with limited savings. My old Toyota Surf (1995) finally failed the last WOF on many issues - repairs would be over 2K... more than half the value of the vehicle. There are lots of other niggly non-wof things wrong so at last, it seems it has to go. Do you agree? Is it worth anything to anyone? I think I probably already know - just being thorough.

Your best bet would be to sell to an enthusiast or off-road type person who may fix the vehicle or transform it for off-road use only. This is where the value may lie, in a Trade Me listing rather than selling for scrap to a wrecker who would give nothing for it.
