Hi, my suzuki swift stalls when I am driving up or down a hill or when stopping on red light. What is the possible causes for engine stalling like this? Can AA run a diagnostic check on my engine to confirm the causes? It might be just a dirty fuel pump or filter. How much is is for such test?

Hi there, you may have an idle control fault or there could be a list of things to check and adjust or clean. If you have a malfunction warning light on the dash then a diagnostic scan will be able to tell you what the issue could be, or it can tell a mechanic a bit about the engine operation statistics that could also help them isolate the issue (engine temperature, idle rpm, etc).
