Hi there. I recently purchased a brand new trayla trailer. The rear lights are 12/24 volt LEDs. The Trailer works okay hooked up to my Pajero, but when the X3 is hooked up, and indicators actioned, the indicators act like the LEDs have blown and consequently don't work. Considering X3 works without a problem hooked up to boat trailer which is 12 volt LEDs and another work trailer using 12 volt LEDs, Im considering changing out 12/24 volt lights to straight 12 volt ones. Can you tell me if it could be anything else than these 12/24 volt lights that are the reason for them not working on the X3?

I recommend speaking to the trailer manufacturer to see if they have encountered it before. It might also help them with any future modifications. Otherwise maybe check that the X3 doesn't have unique wiring compared to the other vehicles.
