Hi just wondered if something is on the Reject sheet of a compliance check it doesn't mean its been fixed does it? Its noted on the bottom of the sheet something about "both front arm ..... minor cracks" - the car dealer is telling me it was "fixed" by compliance but that sounds odd to me - they don't fix anything they just check it.

Hi there,
There are failure items that must be fixed before compliance can be passed, and there could also be notes/warnings "for your reference" that might not be a fail on the day of inspection but might fail the next. There would be no immediate requirement to fix this- but definitely something I would want the dealer to address before purchasing the vehicle- otherwise you will be fixing it soon anyway. The compliance centres are not usually the ones who carryout the repairs- it is usually repaired off-site and take back for a recheck (maybe small jobs they can do- bulbs etc).
