Im looking at a Ford Focus Ghia 2000 automatic 2L 130,000km $3200 in good condition. Any known problems with this model please and how economical to run? Thank you.

Some models did have a few issues with ECU control units, central locking and the temp gauge can play up and show the vehicle is hot when it isn't. Possibly not too bad on fuel, but remember it's now 19 years old and might be on the verge of repairs with every wof and service to keep it going. I have a 1.6 with 235k on the clock and it's great apart from the paintwork, my sister had the same year and was problematic.
