I currently own a Mazda Familia (S-Wagon) 1999 (Engine number: ZL-330425 (ZLDE)). I want to know what type of oil the car uses so I can attempt to change it myself.

The manual in the car is 100% in Japanese, so I can't read any of it. Where can I find information on the type of oil used?

Hi there,
For the closest car I can find to yours, the Castrol website would recommend using Magnatec 5w30, 10w30 or 10w40 type oils. So you have a selection- 10w30 or 10w40 might be better suited to older cars with higher mileage.
