Hi there
I bought a 2014 Ford Mondeo Titanium back in July this year and at the time inquired about costs for an extended warranty. My local mechanic recommended i should buy one (he is not a fan of the reliability of Fords or Holden's). I was provided with a quote through Wellington City Ford via Provident MBI. I'm in a quandary about whether to or not. Can you offer any advice to me?

Hi there,
I would look at the fine print as to exactly what items are covered or not covered, and also think about the worst case scenario- what would an engine or transmission replacement or repair cost vs having "insurance" to cover it. This is just like any other insurance policy- where you may never use it, but that one time you might wish you did. It's a personal choice either way.
