Hi,
From next year onwards I have to drive about 50,000km per year. Our current car is a 2000 Mazda Familia with 176,000km on clock. I plan to do this for 2-3 years as currently can't afford another car.
Do you recommend a service or will the 16-pt check suffice to check the vehicle to understand whether anything I should look at or whether will be good until next service (July next year)?

I will definitely be servicing every 10,000km. But wanting a pre-check for security.

Hi there,
I recommend having the first check a major one to make sure that the whole vehicle is checked and going to last. If you are travelling 50k a year that is a service almost every 3 months so the vehicle has a potential to be seen by a mechanic fairly often (unless you change the oil yourself)
