This vehicle has had a engine rebuild, new pull and belt, new button clutch in the last year. It has broken down in the last month. It had an unmissable loud knocking noise, sounded like bearings, I think it's the crank shaft, though hasn't been diagnosed. Is it worth fixing or too costworthy??

Hi there,
The crank bearings should be new as part of the engine rebuild, I'd be looking onto when that was done.
But another rebuild is likely to cost 4-6k+ depending on the extent of the damage and what can be salvaged.
Evo's in good condition hold their value and so might be worth repair or sell it to an enthusiast who could do it.

Hi Cade
Thanks for your response. The rebuild on this vehicle was done in February 2017, it has only done about 30,000 km since then if that and had all the other work done on this in between. I will look into this repearer as there is so much more to this. I have all documents for what they say they have done. Thank you again
