I recently imported a Toyota Wish 2009 2nd generation vehicle. The power steering does not work as I am used to. The steering appear a bit stiff and the wheel does not return to a straight position it veers to the side the car turned. Is this the way electric power steering works or is there a fault?

It is a requirement for a vehicle steering to self centre (as in return to straight position) at the end of the turn.
I recommend you get it looked at as there may be a fault, you may need to check the tyres are inflated correctly (32-34 psi).
