Hi,
We just bought a Mazda MPV 2006 - 23T (turbo), can someone please kindly confirm if it’s best to run this vehicle with 95 petrol rather than 91?
Also, I’m not really a fan of having no spare tyre (which many MPV’s don’t have), Instead we have one of those foam puncture repair things which I’ve never used and don’t really want to rely on. If I want to buy a space saver wheel (there is room for one in the boot) how do I know what spec / size to get?
Hi there,
Our Redbook specs show 91 octane fuel for the 2.3 turbo, however most turbo cars do well running on a on a minimum of 95 octane fuel. You can certainly try it and see if you notice better performance or just an extra cost.
With regards to spare, it would be best to measure the circumference of the tyres you have on the car and try and match with a space saver.
