Hi, I have a Suzuki Swift 2007 and where I press the brake lightly, then it brakes a bit but then fades away. When I press it a bit further, it does the same until I brake hard and then it brakes sharply. I suspect there may be brake fluid escaping past the seals in the master cylinder. It does however not sink all the way down. Does this sound correct and if so, am I right that this would mean that I will have to replace the brake cylinder?
I noticed that there were some Suzuki Swift recalls due to master cylinder problems. Do you know if this may be the same issue?

Hi there,
It would be best to have the braking system checked by a workshop, as it could even be the brake booster operation that needs checking.
