What SAE rating and synthetic or Mineral Oil should I be using for my Nissan 350z 2003 VQ35DE Engine. It seams to have started using oil since changing to a Untied 5w30 Synthetic. Unsure what it had before then, but wasnt using oil before doing oil change. It has done 130k

The Castrol website lists Edge 5w30 Synthetic or 10w40 Magnatec type oils. http://www.datateck.com.au/lube/CastrolRetailNzl/default.asp
You might want to try the 10w40 and see if the usage reduces.

Ok thank you. Also my Engine Light and Slip and TCS lights have been coming on randomly. Sometimes they are on for days other times the next day they go off and dont come back on for a couple of weeks. I have replaced 3 sensors, all the spark plugs and a coil. The Garage I take it to just seam to be throwing parts at it and it isnt solving the issues. They plug in the diagnostic machine thing, scratch their heads and replace parts, then the lights come on again. It is running fine and i am not having any problems apart from the lights. Is there someone I can talk to
or where is best to go to as I feel this garage is just taking advantage of me.

Hey, It might be worth talking to an Auto electrician or a Nissan specialist to get the best diagnosing capabilities.
