Hi. I have a Mazda Premacy 06 and I have been having a 'tud' sound specifically at the rear left somewhere on the wheels especially if it passes a bump on the road aside from that I am also hearing rattling sounds somewhere on the rear wheels as well. I am clueless as to what causes these. Could the 'tud' sound be something of a suspension problem and the rattling sound caused by rear sway bar links? The rear sway bar links are kind of soft when you wiggle it but no play. Thanks.

Hi there,
It could also be the sway bar mounts or links, this is usually a rattle sound over light bumps when cruising around 50km/h.
The rear shock mount bushes might also be inspected for play.
However, it might eventuate that a technician might need to sit in the back/ boot to determine if the sound is internal or external (could be something in the boot/ spare tyre area)
