I have a Subaru Impreza 2009 which is at 107kms. I am getting the cam belt replaced and have been told I should also replace the water pump, tensioner bearings and idler bearings.
Is this correct and necessary to replace these other things now too?

Hi there,
It depends on the repairers workshop policy, it is good practice to replace everything in one go rather than risk a component failure shortly after and having to repeat the process again. It would be best to replace the cam and crank seals at the same time, for piece of mind.
