Hello :)
In the last 3 or so weeks my car has been omitting white exhaust smoke when I startup in the mornings. Sometimes it can be small amount but this morning there was quite alot and it kept coming out until the car had fully warmed up. I have had the car for 3years and this is the first winter its happened.
Is this normal for the colder mornings? Or do I need to have this looked at?

Thanks!

I suspect the smoke is normal due to the colder mornings however we should not assume too much.

One easy box to tick is checking the water level in the radiator / expansion tank (when the engine is cold) just to make sure there is no problems with water loss from the cooling system.

If you have a regular and trusted repairer it wouldn’t hurt to get them to have a quick look. They should be able to identify a problem very quickly if there was something not quite right.

thanks ! I have noticed that the water runs out really fast, so I think I might take it in to AA to have a look at.
