Hi AA Expert,

I bought a 2008 Mazda Verisa recently. I found the accelerator of this car is very sensitive, especially when I pulling out or parking. I tried to press the accelerator gently every time, but the car still accelerates very quick sometimes.

Is there any way to adjust the response of the accelerator?

Hi Austin,
It would depend on the type of system used if there is any way to increase the pedal resistance and still maintain vehicle safety.
It would be best to take the vehicle to a Centre to be looked at.http://locations.aa.co.nz/search/auto-centre
