Hi AA,

I recently took my car to a mechanic as it had been shuddering. They advised me that the issue was caused by the wrong transmission fluid being put in the car when it was serviced.

I have only ever had my vehicle serviced by the AA - Is it possible for the store who completed this service to contribute to the repair cost?

The first thing to do is contact the previous service shop and discuss your concerns about the type of fluid used in your vehicles transmission, you should let the manager know and give the shop a chance to investigate the issue and address your concerns.
