My wof was due today so took to my local vtnz station and they failed the wof on no certification for the adjustable suspension which was on the car when i bought it.just looking for information before i go back to the dealer

Hi there,
First off, it is illegal for a dealer to sell a vehicle with a wof older than 28 days old (yours was 4 months old!)
Also the vehicle would fail with adjustable suspension and so would not have passed entry compliance unless a low volume cert was obtained.
The vehicle was not sold by following the rules laid out by the NZTA and was not in a wof state at time of sale (no cert for modifications). https://nzta.govt.nz/resources/factsheets/41/
