Hi there,

I can't seem to find an owners manual for a Mitsubishi Lancer Cedia 2005 and was wondering what the recommended tyre pressures were.

Apparently 32psi is the default but I was recently told its not always the right pressure and the front and back are usually different?

Thanks for your help

There should be a label attached to the frame of the car indicating the correct pressures front and rear. It is normally located on the front door aperture and could be on either the driver or passenger side.

For this vehicle between 32 and 34psi all-round will be fine. By the time you take in the discrepancies with the different tyre gauges hanging (or lying on the ground) from fuel stations around the country, a couple of psi is not going to make a huge difference. Especially if you check the pressures on a regular basis.

I’m sure most tyre stores will be able to provide the exact pressure for your vehicle and inflate the tyres for you free of charge if you were to ask.
