Hi - we have had our peugeot 406 drivers door lock badly damaged and appears someone gained entry - we use the remote key for locking and on returning to the car found it unlocked with the door key lock pushed in and badly damaged and some small items missing - however the remote locking still seems to work to lock and unlock the doors -
we are a bit perplexed on what has happened -
Is the car vulnerable for breaking into in this state and is having the physical door lock working required for a wof -

Doors locking are not a part of the wof inspection requirements, operation of the door, and handles are.
