my z4 bmw has been in the workshop for 9 weeks now.the owner and one other michanic in the workshop.no receptionist.central wellington...problem..starting the car in the morning i would let it warm up for five minuts before driving off.one hundred meters down the road after stoping at an intersection the car would cough and spluter then cut out when about to excelerate off.this would happen every third outing.after a few minuts it would start and no problem for the rest of the day.i have full michanical insurance.they have replaced parts,still has the problem,replaced more parts and still has the problem.where do i go from here????nine weeks in the garrage and it seems like it will just stay there untill they get time to find an answer.
Can you tell me what is the best way to tackle this?thanks,mike

Hi there,
If the fault is intermittent then it can be harder to replicate, find, or even tell if the problem has been fixed right away.
However if they are struggling to remedy, then you might have to take the vehicle elsewhere to get to the bottom of the problem. If you have a warranty, then speak to the company about it and see what the can recommend, as they are the ones forking out for something that is not fixing the problem.
