I am having difficulty changing into second gear the first time i use it during the day however it is Ok after that. Vehicle was purchased from Licensed Motor vehicle dealer 2 months ago and is still covered by warranty. Is this something i should be concerned about?

Yes definitely make the issue known to the dealer, it may just be a case of changing the oil for a different grade so it performs better when cold. Or it may not actually be enough of a problem that can be corrected just yet, but at least you have made the dealer aware of a potential issue.
