Dear advisor,

Is the amount of time and labour involved in brake fluid replacement , only a bit less than the time and labour needed for brake fluid change and front disc pad change? Also, is it OK to change only the worn inner disc pad, and keep using the outer disc pad that is in good condition? Thanks very much :)

Hi there,
To carryout a brake fluid change correctly, all the brakes need to be bled in order to bleed out the old fluid and fill with the new, and so could take up to 30 minutes for this.
Changing front brake pads at the same time would not take much longer and maybe take the labour from 30 to 60 minutes in total.
When replacing brake pads/shoes it's best to fit all new parts and not leave a mix of new and old.
