Hi

I have just bought a 2012 Toyota GT 86.

The engine oil is 10W-30. The Toyota manual says use 0W-20.

Should I replace the oil with the 0W-20 specified by Toyota? Is it a major to use 10W-30 instead?

Hi there,
10w30 will be a bit too heavy for that engine, Toyota uses 0w-20 and Castrol recommends using a 5w-30 Edge or Magnatec oil as a minimum for best overall results.
