My Mazda 2 is 5.1/2 yrs old and has 48,000 on the clock. It's apparently due for 110,000 km/60 months servicing. I've religiously had the car serviced every time it's due, but feel that it's only done 48,000kms - is the next 6-month servicing necessary? I feel there's a lot of items on the check list that could be done by my self and reduce the cost.
I use the AA Service Station in Botany.

Hi there,
Servicing a vehicle every 10,000km's or once a year is perfectly normal with an oil change at the 6 month mark usually reserved for extreme usage/ conditions.
As long as the items are checked and replaced periodically in line with the manufacturers recommendation (air, fuel filters, transmission fluid ect)
