I purchased a 2011 Toyota Prius a few months ago and recall seeing somewhere that the oil should be changed at 90,000km which it has now reached. It is a sealed unit so wasn't checked during the AA pre-purchase check. Is this correct that the oil should now be changed at this mileage? Is this done within an AA service? What is the cost please?

Hi there,
It is mostly recommended that a vehicle has an engine oil and filter change every 10,000km or once a year. So 90,000km is a good place to start if you don't know when it was last changed.
I recommend calling an AA centre to obtain an exact service cost specific to your vehicle, as it may take a special oil that is not accounted for on the standard servicing menu prices.
