I am looking at getting a MPV style vehicle. I was wondering if they had any known mechanical issues? Are any other makes or brands worth looking at? Thanks.

We've not really come across too much by way of vehicles to watch out for.
The main things that let some vehicles down can be the transmission. Some pre 2010 CVT transmissions were prone to give problem. Vehicles to look for may be the Honda Stream 1.8Ltr, Toyota Wish, Mazda MPV/ Premacy seem ok, but avoid the turbo model.
