Hi my son is looking to buy a Subaru Legacy. The listing says the following has been done - will any of these modifications fail a WOF or increase insurance costs? Are they true modifications that I need to declare for insurance if we go ahead and purchase?
Thank you

1. lowered it on Tein springs all round
2. aftermarket 18" rims
3. full matte black vinyl wrap
4. STI 4pot front calipers
5. siamese downpipe off turbo to reduce spool up time and lag

Hi there,
Yes the vehicle will need a cert for the brake modifications if the vehicle didn't come out with them from factory, and will fail a wof without it.
All but the vinyl wrap will need to be disclosed to the insurance company, and the chances are the excess may be high.
