Would you please give me some information on the above Volkswagen Touran Golf TSI 2011 as to reliability, any known problems, and whether the 1.4 L engine is sufficient for the size etc.

We've not received much feedback on these vehicles specifically, but the 1.4 twin charged engine has been known to give problems and described has highly strung for such a small engine. In reviews I have read, people say they are fun, but get the vehicle checked out before buying and check the engine for any timing chain type noises in particular. These engines are not cheap to repair should anything go wrong.
