Hi. I was wondering if someone could provide an opinion on this car. It definately fits all our requirements. 7 seater (without being too big), great fuel economy and safety rating...
Are there any obvious problems with this model and/or year? The only thing we can think of is that it's a European brand, and maintenance and parts might be more expensive - is this really as much of a big deal as some people make out?! I've never owned a European car before.
The model we're looking at is petrol tiptronic transmission.

I haven't heard a lot mentioned on this vehicle, you might want to contact a Renault parts and service agent and see how available parts are or problems to look out for.
There are a few "known" faults with the electrical system, which can present starting issues, steering and suspension vibrations caused by front suspension mount bushes. They might have already demonstrated themselves and been remedied already. But worth looking into.
