Hi,

We are looking for a reliable 4WD, we need it to have 7 seats, preferably 3 with ISOfix for car seats, a high safety rating and a reversing camera. We will be towing with it, predominantly just loads of farming and camping gear around gravel roads, but we would like to have the capability to tow a horsefloat or caravan if need be.

We currently have a 2004 petrol Santa Fe which we have had for a long time and have loved, but it cannot tow what we need it to now and no longer has enough seats.

What would you recommend for about $30,000 and with preferably under 80,000ish kms?

Hi there,
Some options may include 2012 Ford Territory except I can't see ISOfix mounts, 1600+ kg braked towing capacity depending on tow bar pack.
2014 Mitsubishi Outlander would need to ask about ISOfix, the same 1600kg towing.
There are also 2011 Toyota Highlanders, they are v6 petrol, 2000kg towing.
Holden Captiva 7, 1500-2000kg for the latest one, a few people have bought them and wished they hadn't. So not my choice.
A 7-seater that meets your requirements are a little limited, other more expensive options are out there, Toyota Prado/ Landcruiser, Volvo XC90, to name a few.
