Hi there. I am tossing up between buying a honda crv (3rd gen) or nissan x trail (2nd gen) both 2007 at least. With a tight budget of 17K, I was hoping to have something with all the bells and whistles together with reliability and comfort. May I have your expert and unselfish thoughts on this please. My pick would be the 3rd Gen Honda CR-V. I think it looks better and the engine is very well designed. The biggest point is the Honda has a standard Automatic transmission, and the X-trail has CVT transmission. I'm not sure if there are any issues with the X-trail cvt's but I
would prefer the standard 6 speed auto.
