Hi,
I am looking to buy a car but I need more advice on the above 3 models. Can I be advised more on the fuel and maintenance costs? I have read that Honda fit is very fuel efficient but is it a very significant difference with wish?
Hi there,
The wish is quite a big car compared to the others.
The Fit has potentially a problematic transmission, but i'm told it's down to servicing using
a non-genuine fluid.
A pick for me, would be the Swift.
Thanks for that, what about the fuel economy between the swift and fit?
And if I correctly service the fit, it would be fine?
Hi there,
These cars seem to be very similar in fuel economy.
I would contact a transmission specialist or Honda about the Fit transmission before driving or buying, So you know what to look for.
When buying the swift, which is more important? The kms or the model year?
For me it's Km's for sure. A low km car is more valuable than a later model high km car.
And easier to re sell.
Thanks for your help, just one more question. Is there any preference on buying from a dealer or trademe?
Hi there,
From a dealer you generally pay more but you are covered by the Consumer Guarantees Act, where there is not really any cover from auction or private sales.
