One of my friend is looking at buying Jeep ( either Jeep Cherokee or Grand Cherokee ), possibly new or used from 2013-2014.
Are they good in terms of driving dynamics, reliability & maintenance(expenses)?
Please advise any other specifics that should be known about these.

The information I have on these cars is a bit limited. I do know they are great to drive, built well, but not known for their fuel economy.
