We are thinking of buying a Volkswagen Bora imported from Japan, is there any problems I should be aware of? What about fuel economy?
Thanks

If it's ex Japan, I assume you are talking about a model with a petrol engine.
It's basically a VW Golf with a boot lid and as such enjoys a good reputation for all round reliability.
Purhapse the odd electrical problem but nothing major.
Like all used imports from Japan make sure all the main fluids (engine, auto transmission and cooling) are checked and changed as required. I'm a big fan of genuine or recommended manufactures fluids for the auto and cooling systems on any vehicle, this being no exception.
Fuel economy is a tough one to answer but I would imagine it to be around the 9.0 liters per 100kms.
