Need to buy a 7 seater MPV. In terms of optimum safety, handling, fuel economy and running maintenance, do you advise the Toyota Wish or Honda Stream?

Too close for me to call.

I have never driven either vehicle but I would suspect interior space would be a little cramped with 7 seats (especially the rear seating positions).

Often the third row of seats are used for infants only in vehicles of this size. Compare how the third row folds into the floor, its these types of comparisons which may sway your decision.

Both are good lookers though, the Stream was actually marketed as a sporty 7 seater.

Engines can vary from 1.8 to 2.0 (Wish) and 1.7 to 2.0 litre (Stream).

With different engine sizes being available the spec levels could change, so make sure any comparisons are with a similar engine size.

Economy, safety, handling and running costs would be very similar.

Either way a good choice if it fits your needs. Don't forget an inspection before you commit to purchase.
