Hi there,
When buying a japanese import, are the dealers obliged to fine tune the radio for NZ frequency & change the navigation system to reflect NZ geography?
Or does this have to be done by the buyers themselves?
Appreciate your advise, thanks in advance.

Hi there,
You can ask the dealer if they would put a band expander in the radio for you.
But no they are not obliged to fit one or change the navigation system. Changing the navigation can be a hard and a costly exercise, the dealer would leave it up to the buyer to change.
