What is the cheapest most reliable vehicle that I can use to tow a horse float with 1 horse?

The cheapest is unlikly to be the most ideal.

If you are on a limited budget anything is a gamble, but to reduce the risk I would suggest you stick to the Japanese brands.

The decision you have to make is diesel v petrol.

Old diesels can cost a small fortune if you were to have a major engine repair while petrol power can be expensive in regards to fuel costs.

If you are in a horse club then have a look at what others are using and ask a few questions about reliability and towing abilities. If your not in a club go along to a club day for the same reasons.

A good service history is always beneficial.

Visit your local Toyota or Nissan dealer, they may have traded in a vehicle that fits your price range.

Whatever you decide make sure you get it checked out, and don't buy anthing without a Warrant more than one month old.
