I am wanting to sell my car but it has money owing on a credit company. I plan to pay the settlement amount out of the proceeds I can come up with the car sale. What is the best way to market my car without giving a bad impression to potential buyers that it has money owed.

The best way to do it is be upfront and advise that the buyer can work with you to settle the outstanding amount directly to the credit company and pay you the difference.
