When I drove the suzuki sx4 I found the steering stiff when turning a corner. Is this correct or was it just the particular car I drove? Thanks

It shouldn't be stiff as it has power assisted steering. However, it depends on your interpretation of stiff and what you are comparing it to. The easiest would be to test drive another Suzuki SX4 to do a comparison or take the vehicle around to a Suzuki garage for an opinion.

Aftermarket, larger wheels or under-inflated tyres can also increase the effort necessary to turn the steering wheel.
