Hi there...I live on a rural tarseal road 25 km from township, but travel on gravel road a few times a week, with snow 2-3 times in winter. I am in and out to town 5 times a week (50km round trip), have a young family and travel out of town monthly with kids/husband , sports equipment, baby stuff in tow.
Any suggestions on where to start for an SUV?
The Mazda CX-5 Diesel and the Ford Kuga Diesel are popular models worth consideration but if you are looking for a larger SUV then have a look at the Hyundai Santa Fe diesel. The AWD models should be preference for your driving conditions.
But it depends on your budget - A BMW X5 is also suitable but it costs a lot more than the models I have mentioned.
